How to delete messages from inbox with MS Outlook 2007

My old mind has forgotten how to remove emails from the inbox and th
deleted folder. It is not the same as MS Outlook 2003.

Any assistance will be much appreciated........roadrunnerra

Hi Diane, this was set up as a IMAP account, I had never used this typ
of account on any of my email programs before...........

Ok - in imap, the deleted items are marked for deletion and you need to
purge to actually delete them. In Outlook 2007, look on the Edit menu for
your purge options.
