How to customize recently visited folders

I use "move to folder" icon while moving mails from Inbox to folders. I see a
list of a few recently visited folders. I find it very convenient. I want to
increase the number of recently visited folders for convenience. How do I do
this?

Not sure this is what you mean, but try changing View, Show Folders. The list
of all your folders will appear on the left. It's better than using the
Shortcut Bar.
