View Recent Messages after they have been moved from Inbox

I have created several rules to move the incoming messages to specified
folders. Now the problem is my Inbox is having very few messages left in it.
I am not able to see which are my today's messages as they have already been
moved to folders, unless I go to each folder individually. Is there any
facility to view all recent messages, even though they have already been
moved to different folders, just like the Windows facility of 'My Recent
Documents' ?

Depending on your version of Outlook, (which you failed to tell us) use the
Unread Mail search folder.......drag it to your favorites pane.

You can create a Search Folder for that in OL2007. Right click the Search
Folders and create a new one using the received criteria you want.

Thanks Gordon and Vince. Your information was useful.
I am using Outlook 2007.
However, when I created new search folder for 'Todays Mail Messages' with
the criteria of Received Today, I could get only those messages which are in
Inbox, Junk Folders, Delteted Items (Outlook Basic Folders ?). It failed to
list the messages which has already been moved to the specific user created
personal folders. I checked this up by browising these folders and finding
some messages received today but which has not been listed in the Todays
Received Messages folder.

Right-click on the search folder you created and choose "Customize this
search folder". You can then tell it what folders to include.
If you use the built-in Unread Mail search folder than AFAIK it
automatically shows ALL unread mail except for the Junk folder....

Thanks Gordon.
I have discovered the source of this problem. I have moved the messages from
Inbox of the original Outlook file to the folders in the another Outlook File
called 'Shrikant Personal'. Therefore it did not got listed in the Search
Folders from Outlook file. There is no facility in Outlook to include folders
from another file, even though this another file is open and already listed
in the open Outlook.
I went to this file of 'Shrikant Personal' and used the Search' facility
there. It then solved my problem.
