After creating the tables and forms, etc. How can I make them executable
without opening Microsoft Access? Put another way, how do I make the files
self opening and independent of Microsoft Access?

You can't. Access apps require Access, either the full-blown licensed version
or the runtime version which is actually the same program that is crippled by
several hundred registry entries. The latter can be distributed royalty free
with your file after you have purchased the developer's tools for your Access
version.
