How to create DVD from Movie Maker WMV file.

After I completed my movie, I understand that it creates a WMV file. I need
to somehow convert this to some sort of format so I can record on a DVD to
make it a playable DVD in my entertainment center DVD player.

DOes anyone know how to do this? Please advise . Thanks in advance!

Sorry, forgot to mention, I am a newbiw at this. I just created a video for
my wife and wnated to surprise her with it playing it on our DVD player. I
saved the movie file and it is a WMV file. Sorry, and thanks to tose who want
to assist.
