i want to create a xls file that more user can modify contemporarily.
i want that if an user change a cell, other user see realtime the cell to
change ....is possible ?

Not realtime.

Under Tools|Share workbook|Advanced Tab, you can see your options.

And if you look at Excel's help (this is from xl2002):

Seeing other users' changes Each time you save the shared workbook, you're
updated with any changes that others have saved since the last time you saved.
If you want to keep the shared workbook open to monitor progress, you can have
Microsoft Excel update you with changes automatically, at timed intervals that
you specify, with or without saving the workbook yourself.

And be aware that there are a lot of features that don't work with shared
workbooks (also described in Excel's help).

i see that autosave function is minimum 1 minute ...this is the maximum
realtime ?

Minimum realtime???

I don't use autosave, but IIRC, it only uses minutes in that dialog.

One thing I don't like about autosave is that it destroys the undo stack.

I save often--but only when I want to.

IIRC is an acronym for "If I Recall Correctly"

no autosave ?!
what's IIRC ?
