I have a Dutch version of Word, so I don't know how everything is called in
English, but will try to descripe it.

1. Select the colom where you want to insert the double vertical line (e.g.
the 2nd column)
2. richt mouse click and select from the dropdown list: (something that has
to do with:) lines and shades
3. In the pop-up window you can choose the type of line (on top of the
middle part of the window. In this case the double line.
4. At the right part of the window you can click on the corresponding icon
that represents the side (in this example you want the double line at the
right side of the second column)
5. click on ok button.

Hoping this has helped you.
Good luck.

In English the dialog is Format | Borders and Shading. Borders can also be
applied from the Tables and Borders toolbar.
