How to correct the built-in dictionary?

The built in dictionary used in Word incorrectly spells Autodesk as AutoDesk.
How do I correct this without adding a new entry into the dictionary?
 
Ceate a custom disctionary and add the correctly spelled word to it.

Hmm... Yes. Tried that. No joy.

Actually, the folks at Microsoft need to fix their dictionary in general.
This particular error has been present ever since Word 95.

I suppose I'll just add the correct spelling to the dictionary (again).
