How to copy the format of one worksheet to others in same book?

I have a workbook containing 8 worksheets. After setting up all the sheets, a
new change was added to one that needs to be duplicated in all. This is a
look/feel change only, doesn't affect any formulas or usability of the chart.
Rather than go into each individual sheet and add columns, duplicate cell
width, etc., is there a quick way to copy the format to all sheets at once? I
tried format painter, but it didn't work.

You can try grouping all 8 worksheets. Just hold Ctrl key while you click
each sheet tab to group them. Then whatever you do to one sheet, it will
also be done to the other 7.

Wow, Simon!
That is a perfect fix for my problem - plus it's a feature of Excel I hadn't
heard of before! (You can tell I'm a "self-taught" user, as I'm sure this
little tip would be a part of any workshop!)

I really appreciate the fast response - I've already implemented it and
impressed my boss at the same time!

Thanks!

Select first sheet tab.

Right-click on tab and "Select all sheets"

Make your changes to active sheet and will be done to all.

Ungroup when happy.
