How to copy and paste from Word to Web with the formatting retaine

I tried to copy and paste to my blog editor from Word, but the formatting
(italics) was lost.

Is there a way to post this on the blog without losing the formatting? I
read somewhere that there is a "send to blog" feature in Word. True?
