Since I had problems with importing mpeg-2 files to MM2 I have
converted them to avi. Now, after completing the editing I have a
collection of avi files which I want to convert back to mpeg-2 for
burning onto a DVD. How is that done?

Thanks for the help.

If you use Nero to burn the DVD, it will convert the file automatically.
There are other converters available, such as WinAVI from
http://www.winavi.com and AVS Video Tools from http://www.avsmedia.com.
Knowing the correct conversion parameters can be a challenge for newbies.
