How to configure RightMark Clock Utility under ASUS A8N-E and Athlon 64
3000+
Is it possible to use Cool N' Quiet on your motherboard ?
See section 3.6 in your user manual. There are no adjustments
to make if you use CNQ - it adjusts performance dynamically
for you, and will make the processor run cooler when it is
idle.
The current "CPU driver" is this file on the Asus download
site:
"ASUS Cool&Quiet Driver V1.2.2.2 for Windows XP/2003"
It is likely the same file as on this AMD page:
http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_9706,00.html
"AMD Athlon 64 Processor Driver... 1.2.2.2"
The RightMark version offers some customization, but
you don't need to know qnything to use the standard CNQ.
