How to configure XP for Distinctive Ring

I too am having this problem. WinFax Pro supports "Distinctive Ring" as
does the modem.

How do I configure XP (home edition) to accomodate this feature? Any
computer based fax capability is useless to me without this capability.
 
No, Windows XP Pro does not support distinctive ring. None of the OS on the
NT kernel do. You have to purchase an external switching device.
