How to configure user profiles?

Hi all,

I'd like to how to deploy custom user profiles with XPe.

In our special case we have two user profiles, one administrator and one
default user, that is automatically logged on. The FBReseal has to start
automatically in the phase 12000, so I have no opportunity to do manual
changes.

What I tried so far: I made several VBScripts that are started during FBA in
the phases 8500 to 11999. These scripts should adapt the profiles to our
needs, mainly through changing registy settings in HKLM or HKCU. But the
scripts aren't working the way they should. I suppose that during the phases
8500-12000 there aren't any user profiles or rather any hives loaded. Am I
right?

Which methods are you using to customize your profiles?

In the system cloning tool did you uncheck - Remove Custom User Settings?

Hi Sean,

yes, I unchecked the "Remove Custom User Settings" box.

The question is rather how to make settings only for one special user? Do
you use a special component? Do you use scripting? And if scripts, in which
FBA phase do you run these scripts?

Ah okay. Logging into the account after FBA run is the only way.
