How to configure the real IP address with other System,connected through LAN to access the internet

Hi,

I am new to this field.

I have provided a real IP address from the ISP.
I configure with this real IP in my server System (Windows 2000 Server
OS).
I have to make use of this IP addressthe following prurpose.

How to configure the real IP address with other System,connected
through LAN to access the internet from all other Systems?

I would think the "real" (I assume you mean a fixed IP) supplied by your ISP
would have to be used in your router, then you can use a private network
address range (192.168.1.x) behind the router on your local network.

such as for example

Local PC(192.168.1.2) <==>192.168.1.1 (Router/Firewall) xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx <==>
INTERNET

Where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the address you've been given

into the body of the post rather than into the Subject line.

What exactly do you mean with "How to configure"? Do you
wish to access files between systems? Do they all have a fixed
external IP address?
