How to configure exchange server and outlook

I have installed Exchange server 2000 in one of my server and in another i
configured outlook to exchange server. But i am not able to send and receive
mails, any pop or smtp have to be configured or how this can be solved

Sara - did you sort this one out as I have recently installed Exchange server
and am also unable to receive pop or smtp mail? Thanks
