How to combine a connector in powerpoint?

I need to know how to connect the connectors in powepoint to form one bar.
 
When a connector is selected, you'll see a yellow diamond. You can drag that
diamond to reposition its horizontal position. Experiment with it and I think
you'll see the posibilities.
