how to clear temporary internet files?

Other than deleting the entire directory, how do I clear/delete files
in username\local settings\temporary internet files? They appear to be
a lot of infected files there only picked up if I do a manual scan
with Norton Antivirus. I am assuming these files are not "touched" or
used in operation of main system, unless I click them?

Hi

You can clear the TIF folder via Internet Explorer. Go to Tools>Internet
Options - then click on 'Delete Files'.

Highlight them and push the delete key.
