How to change Windows explorer settings to open files with the detail view?

Hi,

When I open the windows explorer I would like my files to be displayed by
default with the detail view rather than with the icon view and I would it
to be effective for all the new files/folders that I'll create - I've no
issues with the existing ones ...

Someone would know how to do this?

Open any folder and set it to "details". Then go to tools, folder
options, view tab, and click on "apply to all folders".

Thank you but, as I said I've no issue for the existing folders/files.

What I try to get is to make this being the default. I mean for all the new
folder/file I'll create, I want it to be displayed first with the detail
view and not the icon view ..
