How to change the "default" Word 2003 paragraph settings

Hello,
When I close and open World, the paragraphed settings are not the same I
choose the last time. I want to know how to change the "default" Word 2003
paragraph settings.

Create a style with the paragraph settings you want to use all the time; save
the style to the template; use the style!
