How to change "Generic / text only" default folder

C

Carl

My "generic / text only" driver sends the output to
the "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\NT"
folder.

Is it possible to change its default folder to something
simpler, for example "E:\Carl\text"? If yes, how to do it?

Thanks for help,
Carl

Bring up the properties for the printer, and under Ports, click "Add
Port". Select "Local Port", and type the full pathname and filename as
the "port". This file will be overwritten each time a new document is
printed.

I posted the same question two days ago.... Have you found
a solution for this? If so, please share it with us...

Did you see my previous answer to Carl's question in message-id

If that solution is not good enough, in a recent posting Tony Edgecomb
recommended a commercial product of his that may help. I haven't tried
it. http://www.frogmorecs.com/printdistributor.html
