how to change category of 1 occurrence in recurring appt

[Frustrated By Outlook 2007]

w/ Outlook 2007, I can't figure out how to change the category coloring of
just one occurrence in a recurring appoointment. It wants to change the
entire series and I depend on this for a work calendar

You can't change the category on one occurrence. Copy the occurrence and
paste it in place and change its category.
