how to change arabic numbers to hindu

I want to word to change Arabic figures into hindu figures i.e : 1,2,3,4 into
Hindu numbers(figures)?

That's a setting in Windows > Start > Control Panel > Regional &
Language Options, first tab. It will affect your whole computer, not
just Word.

It seems that Microsoft bestowed on Word some special options for the Arabic
users that cannot be found on other Office applications. To have hindi
numerals in Word 2003, go to Tools > Options > Complex Scripts. Under
General, choose "Hindi" from the list in front of "Numeral". You can also
choose "Context". This way the numerals format will change according to the
context. In Word 2007, click on the Office button > Word Options > Advanced >
Show document content.
