How to chang e default choice of printer

I just bought and installed a perosnal laser P1500 (Dell)
and the default pronter is my discarded Cannon inkjet. How
do I command my computer to use the new laser printer and
stop going to the inkjet.?

Uninstall the Canon inkjet - follow the instructions at
http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article One.htm
to step 5.

Then after rebooting, with no more Canon printer, it will probably
automatically make the Dell laser printer the default, but if it does not,
go to the Control Panel, click on Printers & Faxes, right click on the Dell
and then click on Set as Default.
