How to block junk emails?

Is there anyway in Microsoft Outlook that I could block the junk
emails sent to my account. Currently, I filter them out into a junk
email folder. But if I could simply block them from even coming into
my account, that would be even better. I know I could do in hotmail
before. Can I do this in Outlook?

Instead of depositing them in a Junk Mail folder, just delete them.
