how to attach & send complete folder with sub-folders in Outlook?

I have to send scores of small gif and other files to our graphic artist.
They take a long time to attach individually to an Outlook message and if I
do attach them individually, I lose the structure of the folders and
sub-folders they come out of. Zipping is not an option because of the
probability of corruption of these types of files.

Please send your suggestions.

Thank you.

Use drag & drop from Explorer into the new message but that would ruin the
folder structure.
Why would zipping it cripple the files?
Note that FTP is the more proper protocol to transfer loads of files instead
of mail.
