Hello,

If there is anyone out there who can tell me how to
adjust the startup options for XP I'd appreciate it. More
specifically, there are a plethera of programs that open
up when Windows starts and it slows down my computer.
Many of the programs do not need to start right away. I
know in Windows 98 you could type msstartup in the Run
menu and adjust them that way. Is there a similar
function in XP? Please advise, thank you.

Go to RUN, type msconfig, click startup, uncheck from the
list programmes you don't want to sload on startup.
