how to addeffects without displaying them at the time of adding(PP

sir I'm adding some shapes to the power point slide and adding effects to
these shapes in the mainsequence and displaying these effects through the
VB program.
At the end of my VB program i used to delete my shapes and the effects
applied to these shapes.
Apart from dynamically created shapes i also have static text in my slide .
Now after deleting the shapes and effects on the shapes i am adding effect
to the placeholderbody <shape> having buletted test in it.
The effect on the placeholderbody is added and it is also displaying
animation effects correctly at the time of adding effects programatically to
the placeholderbody.
BUT i want that animation effects not to be displayed at the time of adding
it through addeffect function ,but the effects should be seen the next time
when we run that powerpoint presentation ie. the effects should just be
stored in the main sequence and not displayed at the time of adding these
effects.
The effects should be displayed the next time when we run the presentation.

im not able to do this.
Could anybody please help me out in implementing this feature.

The only way to add an animation that does not display in the animation task
pane, would be to use a gif file animation or flash/movie. There are no
hidden animation sequences in PowerPoint.

Hidden animations are not available in any version of PowerPoint. All
animation sequences are shown in the animation task pane. However, the
appearance of an animation can be achieved by using a motion graphic file.
There are a couple of types of these, but the main one is a GIF.

Gif computer graphic files can be created to appear to show animation. For
instance, in some dialog boxes when you are deleting files, the little
picture of papers flying from a folder and evaporating is a GIF file. This
file can play in PowerPoint 2000 and above. It will give the appearance of
motion. The audience or will not know the source of the motion is from a
GIF file playing, just that there is motion. Gif files play without
anything being added to the animation task pane.

Like a GIF file, a movie file could be inserted. The movie file can also
appear to have movement, but does require an animation cue to start it.

What is the desired end result of your project? To add an animation, then
delete it will have no end result. Perhaps we are miscommunication because
of terminology.

From what I am reading of your post, you want to use VBA to
1) Add shapes to slides
2) Add animations to the added shapes
3) Delete the shapes (and therefore the animations)
4) Add a 'hidden' animation to a placeholder

The result of 1-3 is zero, no change. 4 is not available.
