How to make PP look as good as Keynote?

Been using PP 2003 for ages. However at a recent event used Keynote and it
just looked much better - 3 main reasons

1. Text seems to look better - less jaggies
2. Wider range of transitions and reveal effects - tacky but good!
3. Built-in tool to remove backgrounds from images - not just a single color

I don't want to change to Mac (and our IT dept certainly don't!) but the
sales force are now all clamouring for Keynote. I've downloaded the PP 2007
trial and it's certainly better for text and picture effects but transitions
and reveals still look primitive and the text rendering is still not great.

Any ideas where to go next? Are there add-ins that can help? Is office 2010
going to be better.
