how to add commonad to context menu?

Hello everyone.

I need to add command to context menu ( menu that appears on mouse right
click ) .

I searched through my registry but the only thing that i can find is for IE
and thats not what i need. there are few application that i like to lunch
when i right click on mouse and open the context menu.
would anyone please tell me where in the registry to look for ?
Also , please can you tell me where on my Harddrive , i can find registry
database.
i like to copy that and examin the structure of Registry file.

You did not say which r-click context menu...
In general look to use SendTo as the easiest way to "send" a fully
qualified path/filename to another application. Many menu items
added by applications are "shell extensions" and beyond the scope on
most non-programmers.

The system's registry is stored in "hive" files in (NTx) %systemroot%
\system32\config\ but they are locked while the OS is operational.
They would mean little if viewed as files anyway. The OS provides
registry tools like regedit.exe for viewing the registry.
