Interesting mention of the OFormat utility (user to format FAT32
volumes with cluster alignment suitable for NTFS conversion later).

Does OFormat have the same pathetic 32G limit as XP's more visible
"front door" tools? Will OFormat run from a Win9x DOS mode? It would
be good to have a generic-OS formatter that aligns correctly for later
NTFS conversion. At present I use BING for that.
