How to achieve Outlook Bar functionality in Outlook 2003?

OK, so it appears that my trusty Outlook Bar is history. But the new
tools are supposed to be much more flexible and effective. So can one
of the Outlook 2003 experts please tell me how I can do this ...

With Outlook 97/2000/XP, I use the Outlook Bar with small icons. I
have the folder links grouped into 11 separate Outlook Bar groups for
navigation. In turn, each group has 10-20 icons linked to specific
folders, so 100+ links in total. I have the same set of groups/icons
on my desktop and laptop machines (I copied the .FAV file over).

When I want to file a mail message, I simply drag a message over the
appropriate group's bar, the group opens, and I then drop the message
on the appropriate icon.

How can I achieve this type of email filing functionality with Outlook
2003?

Thanks ...

The shortcut bar doesn't allow me to have more than one level of
shortcuts, does it? (At least I couldn't figure out a way.) 100+
shortcuts will require an awful lot of scrolling.

I'm disappointed that the Office development team dropped a longtime
feature that really makes it easier to manage large volumes of email.
Now looking for a solution, unless I'm willing to stick with Office XP
for the foreseeable future...
