How to access a slave drive after formating

Hi, I have two hard drives and I placed all my important information on the slave drive (I believed). Then I unpluged the cable and electricity cable for the slave drive before I formatted my master drive. After I reinstalled windows xp and plugged back the second hard drvie, the windows is not able to recognize it under "my computer". When I checked the computer management, the slave hard drive is there, but it is considered Disk 1, Dynamic and Foregin. I don't how to go from there and please give advice on how to retreat information from my second drive.. So that from the icon" My Computer", I could get back my second hard drive and get back my old information. Thanks a lo

Did you try assigning a drive letter to the slave drive in Disk Management?

Hi,

How was this drive originally set up? If with a drive overlay (setup
software that often comes with new drives), then you need to reinstall this
software.
