How to accept or decline meeting invitations from Lotus users?

I recieve meeting invitations from a company of Lotus Notes users, which I
cannot accept, decline, etc. The invite will allow me to view my calendar
and highlight the appropriate day and time, but the accept, tentative &
deline buttons (and drop-down menus) are greyed out. Is there a way (plug-in
or other) for me or the meeting organizer to allow this functionality?

Thanks,

Hmmm, I've sent invites from Notes to Outlook and vice-versa and they work
pretty well. What versions of Notes & Outlook are involved in your case?

The Lotus Notes users are at 6.5 and I've seen the issue w/ both MSOutlook
2000 and 2003 (which I've been using for the past 2 months).

Hmmm, I'll test this out again. I've got Notes 6.5x and OL2003 and they
seemed to work last time but I'll retest later.

Thanks Vince. This is a big problem for me and my fellow project managers
right now.

I'm having the same problem as DJKeegan. Was a solution to this problem ever
figured out?

No [solution was ever given]. I was just saying to my co-worker(w/
excitement), that I finally received a response!! Unfortunately, it's your
posting of "what is/was the solution??" So MS community, we're still looking
for some guidance. THANKS!
