how many receipients can I send at one time

I have Outlook 2003. My host says I can send up to 999 receipients at one
time but outlook gets stuck on 25 or more. Is there a cap somewhere in
Outlook that won't let me send? This isn't spam, I'm sending info out to a
large association of 3000 or more.
 
No, Outlook doesn't have such a limitation. What kind of mail account type
are you using?
