How long do we wait for MSFT to fix the Hotmail server issue?

I received this from a Microsoft Technical Support Officier today

"Please let me know the number of e-mail in your hotmail server, as if it is
more than 2000, the hotmail server doesn’t sync with the outlook connector
account on Outlook and it is a problem with the hotmail server as you
mentioned.
We received new updates regarding this issue. The Development team is
working on the issue and will take a while as the update is going to affect
all the users of Outlook connector."

This is why I have been unable to download all of my emails as I have over
3,000 emails on the Hotmail server in my account. I'm assuming that this
issue also affects Livemail users too.

Don't have a clue about this "Livemail" thingy. It looks like a personal
slang term, not an official MS nomenclature.

There is likely nobody here who has an answer to your question. These groups
are user-to-user support groups; they are not an official MS support forum.
Despite that you are using a web browser for access, they are not even any
kind of forum at all. Just another corner of an older part of the Internet,
called, "Usenet".
