You're in luck. I just re-installed on a system
and noted some numbers.
W2K Pro with SP4, WMP9, all critical updates according
to www.windowsupdate.com, and nothing else yet takes up
a grand total of 2.17 GB.
Drivers for the NForce2 chipset - including ethernet,
sound, and integrated video are included in the total.
A 720 MB page file is included in that total.
The recycle bin is empty and all of the uninstall
data created by installing SP4 and the critical updates
was deleted, so those aren't inflating the total.
Thanks Rob ... Reason why i was asking was because mine
was just under 2GB and thought for a second there it
wasn't correct but after hearing your , now i am thinking
its correct ... Thanks again ...
Rob's numbers sound about right. I keep a maintenance partition with all
hardware drivers and associated software (i.e Sound Max) plus Perfect Disk
Ver 6. The swap file is NOT in the partition. Whole thing comes in at 1.29
gb.
