Cooler by at least half a degree than yesterday. Guess I'll just have to drive eleven miles and get me feet in the ocean again.

Just got home. thermometer is reading 30.2 and I've only just turned on the PC! lol. Might go to the pub garden again...

There is no breeze at all down here, at least yesterday there was some wind. Might go for a blast down the motorway with all the windows down again.... :D

Currently 23:20, most outside doors and windows open, kitchen thermometer says 31C.

Better than rain and snow for sure.

Ya'll in heaven!!!!!!!!!!!! Here in Texas we are sizzling in the daytime with temps in the mid 90'sF or 35C. My instrument panel today was showing 103F or 39.44C. The humidity today was 68% and that with heat, makes it very unbearable for many.

We are going to have severe weather in the next few days with lightning and thunderstorms. According to local weather pundits this year the hurricane season looks very gloomy.

If it's <18C in the UK, we're too cold, if it's >25C we're too hot .

Thank God it's cooled down a bit now. We've had 32c in Cambridge, car was reading much higher than that sat in the sun though.

Also very thankful for portable air con units. Our Son's nursery was getting to 31 indoors so we had to be a bit crafty with the ducting to make it reach there. Managed to bring it down to about 23/24 so a bit more comfortable for him at least.

40C!? I am very thankfully for air-con in cars at times like this :D.

I don't think it was actually 40 though, cars always tend to over-read when sat out in the sun!

The new car has an iPhone app that lets you start it remotely to get the AC on, so that when you get back to it it's nice and cool. Solves a first world problem rather nicely
