how dow I remove end-of-line character in reply

When I hit reply or forward, all lines from the previous email (address info,
signature, previous messages) display a weird end-of-line character, like a
backwards P. It does not get sent with the email, but just displays in my
reply/forward windows where I would add additional email messages.

This just started happening when I opened Outlook. I ran virus scans, etc.

help please

Those are paragraph marks from Word. "Show or hide formatting marks by
clicking Options on the Tools menu in Word and then clicking the View tab.
Under Formatting marks, select or clear the check boxes."

This is soooo helpful.. the paragraph marks have been drove me CRAZY for 2

MY email is also adding the end of paragraph character and there are no
boxes checked in the Word program. Any other helpful suggestions? Thank
you.
