How do you view a single slide in powerpoint?

Is there a way to "quick view" a single slide in presentation mode if it is
in the middle or at the end of presentation without going through all of the
others?

with the slide selected that you want to view, click the slideshow button in
the lowerleft corner of PPT, click esc to return to normal view. The
slideshow starts from the beginning if you click slideshow, view show from
the menu.

Thank-you both so much. It worked just like you said! When I looked in the
corner it told me that you can use shift+F5 as a shortcut key. This will
save me so much time!
