How do you turn off auto versions in Microsoft word?

A team member is running into a problem where a word doc
contiually saves itself as a version making the document
unwieldy and very large. We can see how it is turned on
but not off.
Any suggestions? Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.

look within the community for the "Office" section then
under that will be Microsoft Word
