How do you transfer received emails and address book details currently on AOL
9.0 to Outlook which I want to use as my default from now on.

For emails, set up Outlook to access the AOL IMAP server per
<http://members.aol.com/adamkb/aol/mailfaq/imap/>. Then use the AOL client
to move messages into the "Saved on AOL" folder. (That folder has a size
limit, so you may have to do it in batches.) Then in Outlook open up the
Saved folder and move the messages into local Outlook folders as you like.
