How do you restore Winsocket

Sending the below for a friend who no longer can access
the Net.

After installing McAfee VirusScan 7 with Firewall we
where no longer able to connect to the Internet via
Bellsouth DSL. Bellsouth has told us that the Winsocket
was gone and needs to be restored. Anyone know how to
restore this?

Hello Stuart,

On Windows XP, you can reset TCP/IP back to it's default configuration by
entering the following line from a CMD prompt:

netsh int ip reset C:\IP_Reset.log
