How do you get the Task Pane from coming up automatically in Word

I have gone through and configured the Normal templete with the toolbars I
prefere it to open with, however, the Task Pane continues to pop up.
 
Go to Tools | Options |View and deselect Statrtup Task Pane. I hope this is
helpful to you.
