How do you format XP?

Ok I kinda messed up my comp and would like it back to
factory settings. I have no idea how to reformat my
comp, and if some could tell me step by step that would
be great. I have the recovery cd have no idea how to use
it. plus my comp is set in RAID and I do not know how to
format with the partition. PLEASE HELP.
 
If you have a recovery CD from your computer's
manufacturer, you should look for instructions that came
with it, or contact the manufacturer. Each
manufacturer's instructions are different, so they're the
ones that would know for sure how to walk you through it.
