I have to download an internet site into Front Page so I can do editing and
save it in my Computer for future edits. I had imported the file to my C
drive in My Documents, but I don't know how to get it into My network places
with the http address.

Thank you, I did what it said and put in the web site password and got a
message that says "You do not have permission to change this document. Do
you want to open a read only copy?" Do you know what is wrong?

Your live site is not running the FrontPage server extensions. I get: Not
Found The requested URL /_vti_inf.html was not found on this server when I
try and go to http://www.fsmaonline.org/_vti_inf.html It sounds like
Import (or possibly FTP) is the correct way to get your live site down to
your PC.

Next question: What Operating System are you running on your PC?

I am running XP Pro and Front Page 2003.. I had already done an import of
the site and I can't figure out how to get it out of the C:my documents etc
in order to publish changes on the web site. I'm lost.

If you've installed IIS and the FrontPage Server Extensions on your PC, you
should be able to open C:\My Documents\My Web Sites\yourweb and publish it
to http://localhost/yourweb and then open it from there in FrontPage. You
can make your changes in http://localhost/yourweb and then publish via FTP
(I think) back up to your live site.
