How do you disable the Pop-up Blocker?

I need to access an Accounting CD-ROM for a Grad.
Business Class I am taking. According to the Text book
publisher's tech-support, it won't work because the pop-
blocker is on. How can I disable the pop-up blocker? I
tried to search the Internet Explorer "Help" tab,
but "POP-UP BLOCKER" is not listed in the index of help
items.

Artie,
Your POP UP blocker is most likely a third party program and
you should be able to disable it from it's own program window.
Take a look on your programs menu and possibly the ACCESSORIES
menu for the program..

Use Google's free search toolbar; it blocks pop-ups, and all you have
to do is click a button to allow pop-ups through on a particular website.

Id depends on which 3rd party blocker you have. Google,
Earthlink & Yahoo all have their own with various
solutions. You need to go to the copmanies website you got
the pop-up blocker from, and read the FAQs - most
companies put the solution for their particular blocker
there.
