XP has nothing to do with flashing your BIOS. Any boot disc will do, a dos
boot disc or a Win 98 startup disc, whatever you have around.

To create a bootable floppy, click My Computer, install a floppy, right
click on the A drive icon and choose format. You will find a box to check
to made an MS-DOS boot disk.

Then after you boot from that floppy put in the floppy with the new BIOS into the drive and call up the correct file.

My Computer - r-click the icon for the floppy, Format and take the
option to Create MSDOS Startup disk.

This is a pretty minimal DOS boot disk, but adequate. Drag the flash
program and data onto it, then use it to boot and run the program (back
up as first step, and if after the flash there is *any* indication it
was not 100% successful, immediately run the program again, without
rebooting, to restore the original
