Hello...
We have an email-enabled security group called "Alerts." We created a
rule so that any time an email is sent to this group, a copy of the
message will also be stored in a public folder.
Our problem: Unless the particular user whose profile contains this
rule is logged in with Outlook open, the rule does not work because it
is "client-based."
I read that "copying" an email was always client-based, but that
"forwarding" the email to a public folder was server-based (and,
therefore, not dependent on the active status of the user's profile).
So... I have tried to create a rule that "forwards," but do not see
the option of forwarding it to a folder (only to a person or
distribution list).
Do anyone know how we can do this using server-based rules?
Thanks,
Jessi
