How do you change the outlook icon on the start menu

I want to change the standard Outlook Icon in the start menu and the quick
launch bar. So far the only place that I have been able to change the icon
is as a sortcut.

The Start menu option to change the icon is greyed out.

Yup, you'll need to replace that icon with a shortcut if you want to modify

Thanks Roady, BUT, I have tried deleting the O/L Icon, and then dragging a
different Icon down to the quick launch bar, but it changes right back to the
MS O/L Icon?

You might want to tell your exact steps to reproduce here.
Simply go to outlook.exe in your Program Files folder and right click it to
create a shortcut on your Desktop. This shortcut can be modified to whatever
you want.

That worked! I tried just chaging the short cut in programs/office/oulook,
and that change stuck in programs, but not on the desk top. Your solution
did work!
No wonder you are an MVP.
